This policy outlines what is and isn't allowed when using Swooshare. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Permitted Use

Swooshare is designed for sharing files — documents, images, videos, archives, design files, and other legitimate content. You may use Swooshare for personal and commercial purposes, including:

  • Sending files to clients, colleagues, friends, and family
  • Collecting files through file requests
  • Sharing project deliverables and creative work
  • Collaborating with others through share page chat

Prohibited Content

You may not upload, share, or distribute:

  • Illegal content — anything that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or Germany
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; reported to authorities immediately
  • Malware and viruses — software designed to harm, exploit, or gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Copyright-infringing material — content you don't have the right to distribute
  • Personal data of others — private information shared without consent
  • Harassment material — content intended to threaten, harass, or harm individuals
  • Spam or phishing — deceptive content designed to mislead recipients

Prohibited Behavior

You may not:

  • Circumvent usage limits through automated tools, scripts, or multiple accounts
  • Use Swooshare as a general-purpose CDN or hosting platform
  • Resell or redistribute Swooshare's service without permission
  • Attempt to access other users' files or data
  • Interfere with the service's infrastructure or other users' experience

DMCA and Copyright

If you believe content shared through Swooshare infringes your copyright, contact us at support@swooshare.com with:

  • The share link containing the infringing content
  • A description of the copyrighted work
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized

We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly.

Enforcement

We may take the following actions for violations:

  • Remove the offending content
  • Disable the share link
  • Suspend or terminate your access to Swooshare
  • Report illegal content to law enforcement

We aim to act proportionally. Minor or accidental violations may result in a warning before further action.
